Which match rule fits your job?
| Your request | Your original | Use |
|---|---|---|
DSC_0412.jpg | DSC_0412.CR3 | RAW stem mode |
DSC_0412.jpg | DSC_0412.jpg | Exact filename mode |
| “Photo 412” or a renamed gallery number | An unrelated camera filename | Get the original filename list first |
Both modes ignore letter case. Neither mode guesses between several matching files, reads a screenshot or checks whether two photos look the same. Use a narrower source folder when a camera filename appears more than once.

The example contains four requests: two match, one is missing and one is ambiguous. With XMP enabled, the confirmed selection contains three files. File export requires your acknowledgement if unresolved requests remain.
You can explore this without choosing a real folder. The example files contain test bytes, not usable photographs. SelectPack’s job is to copy existing files, not render RAW previews or edit a catalog.

The intended environment is desktop Chrome or Edge on Windows. Mobile use is not supported; other browsers and macOS have not been validated. Start with disposable copies and inspect the output before relying on it.
- Source folder: up to 50,000 files, including files you do not request.
- List: up to 2,000 entries before duplicate removal.
- ZIP: up to 200 MiB for the completed archive, including files, report and archive overhead. The app may reject a near-limit selection conservatively. ZIP packages the bytes without compressing or converting images.
- Folder copy: available in supported desktop Chrome / Edge; writes one file at a time to a new output folder. Actual OS permission flows and large jobs, including 1 GB copies, still need independent validation.
SelectPack matches names and copies files. It does not inspect image contents, decode RAW, edit photos, read a Lightroom catalog or reconstruct renamed gallery numbers.
Keep the handoff easy to review.
Save confirmed copies in a separate folder or ZIP, retain the matching CSV, and keep your originals until you have inspected the result.
