The job it does

For photographers with a list,
and a folder full of originals.

01 / CHOOSE

Use the files you already have.

Choose a local shooting folder. Paste the client's filenames from a gallery, email or text file. One filename per line is simplest.

02 / REVIEW

Make uncertainty visible.

See exact matches, absent files and identical names in multiple folders. No guesses based on a few digits.

03 / PACK

Save a separate selection.

Copy into a new folder with original paths, or download a ZIP up to 200 MiB. A CSV report travels with the selection.

Use it only when it helps

Your free workflow may already be enough.

Lightroom Classic and Capture One can already find filenames. If you only need a catalog selection and the results are reliable, use those features.

SelectPack is for the handoff outside a catalog: collect actual files, keep folder structure, and document every missing or ambiguous request. An AI-written script can do this too if you are comfortable checking its behavior.

Planned SelectPack v0.1 download

$15 USD · one time

One operator. Unlimited projects within the app's limits. An offline HTML tool, matching report and quick-start guide.

  • Up to 50,000 source files and 2,000 requested names
  • Folder copy in supported desktop Chrome / Edge
  • ZIP export up to 200 MiB; no RAW decoding required

Planned price only. This free public preview is not a sale, and no payment is collected. Any future checkout will show applicable taxes and final terms before purchase.

Try the exact workflow first.

The free demo runs the same matching engine. It can export up to five files, including sidecars, so you can check your browser and filenames. No purchase is required.

Supported launch target: desktop Chrome / Edge on Windows. Broader browser and macOS compatibility has not been validated. If your gallery renames the files or supplies only sequence numbers, this tool cannot reconstruct the original names.

No sales, reviews or time-saving claims have been validated yet. The example uses synthetic files.

Help shape the workflow

Share what happened when you tried it.

The Product Hunt discussion is scheduled to appear after launch on October 16, 2026 at 00:01 Pacific Time (PT). Share your role, how often you do this task, the result, and any time saved (including none). Text feedback only: do not include photos, client names or contact information. Comments are public on Product Hunt, a separate service.

A few practical answers

Does it upload or modify my originals?

No. The tool reads the files you choose and saves separate copies. Selected files, filenames and lists stay in your browser. There is no account service or app telemetry. Loading the public pages sends ordinary web requests to Cloudflare, our hosting provider; see the preview privacy notice.

What happens if a name is missing or duplicated?

Export is blocked until you resolve the request or explicitly choose to export the confirmed matches only. Ambiguous entries are excluded. The report records the outcome.

Can I use it for large RAW files?

Folder copy processes files one at a time and avoids building a large ZIP in memory. The ZIP route is capped at 200 MiB. Large real-world jobs and folder permissions must be validated during the closed pilot before public sales.

How will delivery and refunds work?

The public demo is free and has no checkout or paid orders. The planned full download is $15 USD. Automatic delivery and a refund policy are being prepared; final seller details and terms will be shown before any sale.

Where do I get help?

Start with the in-app instructions and the workflow guide. The app can export an anonymous error code report. A business support address must be configured before checkout opens; this preview collects no support requests.
